Orange Time in the Barossa

gawler photographer,

Annette McRae, “Orange Time in the Barossa”, 2013, (net, sheer and cotton fabric), 165cm x 87cm.

We have a few citrus trees that were getting ready for harvesting when we returned from France. In this work I imagined the oranges falling to the ground. I wanted to experiment with this sheer look. To capture and represent Newton’s laws of motion.
Exhibited – Back from Beaujolais; Gawler Community Gallery. April 4th-Aug 11th 2013.
